Personally I would say it's your extreme similarities. From viewing most of your rhetoric I don't think people here get the sense you're a Libertarian considering it comes off as conservative thinking...thus ('Conservative Lite)

Those people might not be paying enuf attention. (Perhaps it's cuz during election time,
so much focus is on the Two Parties. We third party types are left out of debates & discourse.)
On the social scale, I just might be to the left of dang near everyone here.
But it's no secret that fiscal conservatives lean towards libertarian economic thought.

What is your point in trying to paint me as a conservative? Why must my posts be called "rhetoric"?
I'm beginning to get the impression that I personally offend you, & that you're lashing out. I'd rather not play that.

Geeze....I hate elections.

If you call yourself a libertarian but you're planning to vote for the republicans, even though the libertarians are on the ballot in your state, then I'm going to assume that you are a Republican. Didn't you just say people should be judged by their deeds, not their words?

This is the kind of empty snark which elections bring out in people.
No attempt at discussion....just foraging for fodder over which to bicker & insult.
Too few try to grok why 3rd partyers will at times opt for one of the Big Two candidates.
Let's all instead explore issues & perspectives, while learning & befriending.

If you're voting Republican, and debating rather aggressively on behalf of Romney / Ryan in every single politics thread, while completely ignoring Gary Johnson and the libertarian party, I find it bizarre that you think it's an insult to be associated with the GOP. If it's such hard knocks being accused of being a Republican, why bother voting for them and defending their every ideal and policy initiative? Why not simply not support them, and be done with being "unfairly" accused of supporting them once and for all?

Such dishonesty to serve your need to bicker doesn't inspire discussion.

Such pointless ad hominem and armchair psychoanalysis doesn't answer the question. If you are currently a supporter of the Republican party - and not the libertarian party - why do you consider it an insult to be called a Republican supporter? Are people supposed to think you're not a Republican? What have you said that would give people that impression, other than getting hot and bothered when people say you're a Republican?
