God is all races, and none. And yes, probably not human....yet human, too...

I don't think we can just slap a label on God that fits into our own perceptions. While there are some manifestations of God that may reflect race or species, or something else in those descriptive categories, these are more reflections of the way a group of people have experienced God at a certain time and place. This doesn't mean this is the way all people everywhere, and at all times, see God. That is my opinion, anyways.

Does your God share the same race as you?

Almost all gods are the same race as the people who created them.

The question has no meaning to me. It strikes me as just a string of words like "why a mouse when it spins".

I'd agree with one exception, that exception being...

For religious people who think they should only associate/be fair with people of their own race, you could indeed probably make them think by asking, "Is your God the same race as you?"

But other than that... well there are some much deeper questions to delve into about the enigma that is God, in my opinion.

The representation of deities are always consistent with the culture they stem from for obvious reasons as does their stated attributes, powers and edicts.

I have no God, but what I have is for all humans, animals, vegetation and inanimate substances. In his domain, there is no discrimination, neither of living nor of dead, neither of good nor of evil, neither of large nor of small.
