God is not a Republican.

What political party/idealogy would God be if he had to join one? (Select all that apply)

So, assuming that God exists, what political party/idealogy would he belong to? :D

I have put every possible political idealogy I could think of. I'm wondering how many people will say that God is a Reactionary Nazi Terrorist XD... (note, please be serious. Don't say that God is a reactionary nazi terrorist or something like that unless you really think so.)
(You can vote multiple options, so for instance you could say "liberal socialist" or "capitalist democrat." Please don't put something silly, like "capitalist communist" or "communist republican.")

EDIT: Ah crap, I messed up the poll... it's supposed to be a public poll, where you can see who voted what... am I able to fix this?

I was refering to the Christian God.

Sigh... some person voted up all the options... even though I specifically said to only vote in a way that makes sense...

To me, it makes sense to say that god would be all of those things. You didn't say the Christian god... and even if you had, there are even many different variations of god even within the christian faith. How could anyone claim to know what political party it would choose? If one of them, then probably all of them. That's what I think. It created all of them, right? Why create something you don't agree with?

God created whatever the evolutionary pre-human happens to be, which started evolving into human after eating the fruit, and then humans created political parties. God did not create political parties, for God only creates good (which turns evil) :).

Since I don't believe in god(s), I did as believers usually do and created him in my own image, voting for the labels that apply to me.
Sigh, I coulda sworn I specifically said to vote for labels that apply to God, not you... hmm, guess I didn't =O. Musta figured it was too obvious :).
Maybe I should have put this in the general section... judging by your blatant insult to everyone who believes in God, people aren't taking this thread seriously enough =/.

Well... you did put it in the games and jokes section...
Seriously, if there was a christian god, I don't think it would have a political party.

Done here.

1) You did put it in the games and jokes forum.
2) I did put in a smiley, which you edited out.
3) Seriously, how many Christians do you think are going to say their views on politics and their God's views are contradictory?

You totally missed the point of what smoke was doing. Most people create God in their own image so it is only normal that God would have the same political party as them.

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
One of the inconveniences of being an American Christian is that there is no political party that fits my faith.

But that's not surprising when I think of it. Jesus didn't fit into anyone's mold either.

God transcends our attemps to categorize Him. None of the examples given would reflect God's "politics." Each political movement listed is filled with flaws - and God is perfectly holy and perfectly just.

The problem with all political parties is that their platforms contain selfish goals, and their agendas appeal to special interest groups.

1.) True =/.
2.) I didn't edit it out, smileys don't copy/paste for my laptop =/.
3.) Uh, I dunno... I for one think God would probably be an evangelical, theocratic, conservative, socialist monarch, but I'm not evangelical, theocratic, or monarchist :D.
