God is strange or are we the weirdos.

Ah well if the OP is assuming a non creator type God (then my bad). In that case my only criticism would be that it is not physically visible like the Lady it is being compared to in my view.

I think the analogy is supposed to be: IF something beautiful appears and a skeptic assumes the worst of it THEN that skeptic is "weird". Based on the thread title, If there is a hidden assumption, perhaps it's the beauty of God. I think I mentioned it earlier. If God does not appear to someone as something beautiful, then the analogy changes.

If he's a skeptic who is he talking to? That he in engaging acknowledges that she's real.

Now it makes sense (no it doesn't).

@Link did this happen to you?
Atheists talk about God without believing He is real. I talk to God as being real but atheists do not accept that as real.

Gods do not exist YHVH is the God who exists.
Prove it. Thus far bo believer in history has done that. And we aren’t just going to take your word for it.

Atheists talk about God without believing He is real.
That’s because no believer can demonstrate any God exists outside of their imagination.
I talk to God as being real but atheists do not accept that as real.
Why would they, you aren’t a God, you’re an ordinary person who has beliefs. Other people have different beliefs about their God and atheists don’t take their word for it either. Until believers can offer compelling evidence of any supernatural phenomena then the claims are rejected. Is that clear?

If he was the one creating the world and it's best sides I believe we are the weirdos here. He created the best versions of us. However, our habits changed and got us here.
Nonsense as there is no such thing as free-will in my view.

I believe you are Another person who thinks I lie. I am a Chistian under the Lordship of The Way, The Truth and The Life.

A good Scotsman quote.

I talk about fairies (houris) being real.
I believe in definitions. You can call it what you want but I define Scotsmen as those who were born in Scotland or have Scottish heritage. Why would defining that be wrong?

Then it’s one more thing you are incorrect about. We know many humans can believe in irrational ideas sincerely. There are studies that explain how this happens. Your beliefs are quite fundamentalist and that category tends to be incorrect about many factual things.

I am a Chistian under the Lordship of The Way, The Truth and The Life.
And why believe all this? Do you not consider the lack of evidence for these ideas? Is the lack of evidence not a problem? Is the inconsistency with reality not a problem?

Analogy:

Lovely Lady: You want to go on a date?

Skeptic: Yes, but you got to prove you are real!

Lovely Lady: What, I'm right in front of you, you see me don't you?

Skeptic: It can be that you are robot programmed as a human designed to trick me from Aliens.

Lovely Lady: Bye Weird person.

Skeptic: Aha, I knew it, she was a robot. Nice try Aliens!
yes the beloved is mystifying
