God Knows Pain

Bad things happen because of people not god.
But in the NT stories of the death of Jesus, God is commander, planner, and executioner, and the bad things are the direct result of God's (inexplicable) wishes and actions.

Which seem to me to be morally indefensible.

The argument is also available that those actions were God's breach of faith regarding [his] covenant with the Jews.

Death comes to all. Even God in the flesh. So one could say God sent himself

I guess we can say anything we wish.

But in the NT, the Jesus of Paul, the Jesus of Mark, the Jesus of Matthew, the Jesus of Luke and the Jesus of John each deny that they're God and never claim to be. (I noted some of the quotes here >Jesus Failed Right?<.)

They agree they're God's envoy, but that's all.

People killed Jesus. God makes life possible for humans so if you want to call that good you can.
You seem to be avoiding the question. Do you consider the death and resurrection of Jesus a good or bad thing (and by all means explain any more nuanced perception)?

If God makes life possible, he also makes pain, suffering and death possible, if not inevitable (especially if he is omniscient). I don't see how you can attribute all good things to God but all bad things to people, especially given the perception of things being good or bad is often not a simple binary that everyone can agree on.

My answer remains the same

Loving God and my neighbor as myself.
You always hear people complaining that if there was a God he wouldn’t allow bad things to happen. People seem to forget that his son died. He knows a little something about pain imo.
So let me see if I understand your reasoning. You believe that God suffered because his son died, so that makes it okay for him to allow the senseless suffering of innocents?
