God wants different religions to exist. God wants all human to live in peace with each other. God want us to learn to be kind to each other no matter what religion a person believes in. God has no spesific religion. God is behind different religions
Any thoughts? Do you agree or disagree?
At the Tower of Babel, God scattered the various races to the various corners of the world, changed their religions, and changed their races. He didn't want them (at least at that time) to get along. I can't help but wonder if his plan was to wait until the world has matured enough to embrace each other as brothers, learn from each other's religions and cultural differences, and act like the children of God that we all are.
The
very Jewish Jesus laid a guilt trip on the poor unsuspecting gentiles....oy vey....they have the guilt of so-called original sin. So they have to start apologizing immediately, start atoning immediately, and hope and pray that God accepts the humble atonements. Gentiles aren't used to such guilt trips.
Upon his next visit, Christ might very well demand that Christians become even more Jewish (he might get out his samarai sword and make a few chops of his own)...blindfolded for the sake of modesty.
We approach Christmas, and should get into the spirit of the season....killing trees....getting presents that no one wants....standing on return lines (after the season).
But, somewhere, in all that mercantiling, there is a reminder that we are all God's children, and we should "do unto others" (not make war or torture camps). We should turn the other cheek when riled, and conduct foreign affairs with patients and compassion.
A washroom attendant told me that it was really nice, last year, when someone gave him a $300 tip. I spoke with him for at least an hour about how giving is so much better than receiving around the holidays, yet....he didn't give me a $300 tip (not even a dollar).
Puzzled, I wonder what all of the various customs are about giving. Does everyone help the homeless? If so, why are there so many of them?
