Gods personal name

When it comes.

I'm really surprised to hear a Christian say that the New Covenant will be a continuation of the Abrahamic covenant. Usually you guys want to say that its a whole different thing, where you are saved by faith through grace, etc. It makes me wonder if you know what the Abrahamic covenant is.

Maybe I don't know what the Abrahamic Covenant is.
I see it as a promise by God to give Israel to Abraham and his descendants.
Abraham's righteousness before God was his believe in what God said to him, and this faith was demonstrated in his being willing to offer up Isaac and to comply with the circumcision requirement.

Romans 13:9The commandments “Do not commit adultery,” “Do not murder,” “Do not steal,” “Do not covet,” and any other commandments, are summed up in this one decree: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love does no wrong to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

Jesus also said something similar.
Of course the ten commandments are important.
It is easy to suggest that they are summed up in one commandment, but if that was the case, then there would never have been any reason for them to have been detailed in the first place.
Not only do we need reminding, they need to be spelled out, to remove any doubt.

Modern secular society, for example, is relatively liberal in its "interpretation" of moral law.

What was it that you think God promised to Abraham and his descendents?

Muffled

Jesus in me
You can laugh all you want. They laughed at Noah to, where did it get them? The facts of true God worship history and the teachings of Jesus prove what is truth. No trinity god exists. Billions have been mislead into breaking Gods #1 commandment daily, that makes those a worker of iniquity, and at judgement will hear these words from Jesus-Matthew 7:22-23--He will say to those--Get away from me , you who work iniquity, i must confess i never even knew you. Billions of jaws will drop. Thus it is no laughing matter.

I believe you do not know him. I don't believe the JWs teach that. I do know HIm so I know right where I stand, on the solid rock. Truth be told you could have all kinds of JW nonsense and still make it into eternal life if you know HIm.

I believe the problem with fleshing out the law is that men do it by their own imaginations which leads to error. We see Jesus correcting those errors and fleshing things out. I believe the only way to have it right is to have Jesus as Lord and Savior.

We see Jesus correcting those errors and fleshing things out...
We do.
However, we need to take care, because it is clear that there are those amongst mankind who would rather make their own laws.

Cancellation of the law is not what Jesus actually preached. He did not advocate anarchy.

I believe it is not called cancellation but is called fulfillment.

What was it that you think God promised to Abraham and his descendents?

To increase Abraham's descendants and make him the father of a great nation and to bless them.
To bless all nations because Abraham obeyed God.
To give to those descendants the land of Israel.

I suppose then that you do not trust the testimony of Jesus?
I do not believe we even have the testimony of Jesus, although it was common for superstitious folk of His time to believe in the devil, so it would be correct to say I do not trust Jesus' testimony either since I judge it probable that He held to some of the common superstitions of His time, even if I cannot say for sure that He did.

In my opinion.

Here are some facts few probably know. They are hidden from most that claim to be those that serve Jesus.

In the OT, Gods personal name was removed( making them altered versions) In nearly 6800 spots. Every spot where- GOD or LORD all capitols. Wicked removed it, they had no right. God inspired his name there.
As well They have found very old fragments of the Greek septuagent(NT) The ones who read them stated--We have proof Gods personal name is in the NT and used by the early christians.
That goes along with Jesus who at John 17:6- teaches that name to his followers, At John 17:26- Promises to keep on making that name known. Along with another prayer to his Father from Jesus at John 12:28--Father, glorify your name. Therefore a voice came out of heaven i both glorified it and will glorify it again.

This proves The Father and the son want that name known and used.
Yet the religions that keep that name out, condemned the ones who put it back-They said the name doesnt belong in the Nt even though there is proof. Proving they are doing the opposite of the Fathers will and what Jesus wants. Jesus lives to do the Fathers will as does every true follower-Matthew 7:21-Jesus is clear-Those living now to do his Fathers will, get to enter his kingdom( be saved)-- so by those religions doing the opposite of the Fathers will have closed up Gods kingdom to all that listen to them=2Corinthians 11:12-15--Run from them.

hmm why didn't you go further and find out his name and say it :p

But you are correct in saying there was evil intent in misleading people from the Bible passages.

And its a good thing too. You are an abusive parent if you believe that disobedient child or one who reviles their parents should be put to death.

Moses wrote many of the books in the OT.
The reason Israel and Rome had no written things about Jesus. They would have to admit they killed Gods son.

Which books did Moses write?

God had many sons according to the Bible even a first born...which one are you referring to?
