I feel quite comfortable naked and while at university had something of a reputation for being periodically naked, at least around my fellow students. It never bothered me being exposed and seeing others exposed doesn't particually bother me either.

I personally don't see what the fuss is about.

I've been naked and been around other naked people in theatre, during quick changes in the wings. You typically have a short reaction the first time you see a naked person in a non-sexual setting where you say, "WHOA! Hang on a minute!".....and then you quickly get over it and pay attention to the work on stage or off stage.

We are waaaayyyyy too weird collectively as a culture when it comes to nudity.

No problem being nude. The wife and I vacationed in Jamaica at a resort and they had a separate beach for those who wish to be nude and we had no problem being there. It's never been a big deal for us. Sleeping nude or walking around your own home nude is a wonderful, natural and comfortable environment. Being nude in public is not for everyone and their feelings should be respected....but I see no problem if the area is designated for that purpose....

If you don't mind, I'd like to ask about your feelings regarding being a stripper. Did you feel any psychological pain?

No, not at all. It helped me get through undergrad without being in any debt. I only had to work about half of what most people my age had to work and made probably double what they made. If I had the choice to go back in time and do it again or not I'd definitely do it again.

I'm sure it depends on where you do it, too. Some clubs don't even treat you like an employee -- it's technically "at will," you actually pay them a set amount to be allowed to dance there even if you have a schedule. Obviously a lot of clubs are going to be shady and have a bad crowd. Some are more upscale, have better girls and better clients. I was lucky to have the latter.

Interesting little bit about bits:

I go to a gym in my (conservative) neighborhood, where there's a women's locker room, men's locker room, and a family locker room which has small private changing rooms. When the changing rooms are all full, people just change out in the open, moms, dads, kids of all ages, towels slip, naked kids run around, and occasionally naked adults. What's weird is no one does mixed nudity in my town anywhere else but this one locker room. Everyone's hurried and busy, trying to corral and herd kids in or out of swimwear, and no one, including me, gives a damn that a boob or other part shows.

This is one of the differences between natural nudity and a place where people gather to ogle naked chicks.

Kind of depends where I would be spending more of my time. On the beach or in the water. I have no qualms skinny dipping so being nude in the water is no issue. If I'm going to be lounging on the beach then probably just topless. I have a thing about sand possibly getting in certain places
