When i found it he had already started, was able to slide back to the start so i didnt miss anything.
It seems to be ok to backtrack for 3 hours.
Could hardly have been a better Gollum. There is a cave in Ireland called Pollnagollum - not sure it has any relationship, but it is a nice one to experience.
