I can't remember if I have started this thread before or not; in case I didn't here goes.........(If I did, could one of the Moderators please put it to sleep).

I am very naive, and simplistic in my way of thinking. I'm not sure if that is good, or bad, but I am stuck with that facet of my character, so.......

Many of the topics on R.F have a distinct is this 'Good' or 'Bad' theme running through them; I was just looking at the one about pornography.

Surely this is the age old 'choice' thing? Everything on Earth can be used for good or for bad; being biased (and therefore anti-ponography) I just see pornography as being the 'bad' side of sex. We have all the world at our feet, and it is up to us, as individuals, to choose a path - 'bad' or 'good' - it is entirely up to us:).

michel...I agree with your self proclaimed thought of being simplistic...I'm 50 and I feel the same way. I could say I'm just set in my ways on some things but it's not like that. I'm open to new truths on the Bible but I see most things in this world do revolve around good or bad for each of us as individuals...there is a person from my generational days called Dr.Ruth...she claims porn is ok between consenting adults as a 'tool'...hogwash! I feel porn is truely the devils handiwork...I don't see where degrading women in the 'sex'objective is good for ANY one. For men it gives them unrealistic ideas of how the art of making love should be. My personal opinion is porn demeans us all...it leads to deviant behaviors and has ruined lives.

This IS of course only MY opinion.:)
