Good Girl / Bad Girl

So what is the "Good Girl / Bad Girl" distinction all about? I've never figured out what that really means, why it is supposed to be important, or whether it has any basis in reality. Is it some kind of juvenile way of thinking about women?

Good girls bake cakes, give hugs and cuddles and provide sublime bedroom action.

Bad girls steal cars, *edited by staff* and will ride anything with an appendage.

I was going to put this under "Post your Pic" but it seemed appropriate for this thread. There's a little bit of good and bad in all of us I think :flirt:

I'm not sure. I've known some "bad" girls who were very good and "good" girls who were very bad.

That's not confined to sex!

The only thing I can tell you is that:
When I'm good, I'm very good, but when I'm bad, I'm even better :flirt:

There was a little girl with a little curl right in the middle of her forehead.
When she was good she was very very good but, when she was bad she was horrid. ;)

Methinks it's a throwback to Victorian times. While western popular culture has moved on, there are still pervasive, subtle messages all around little girls and boys brainwashing them into the belief that sex is something men want, and a woman's job is to deny it to them them. So we grow up realizing this is bollox, but not quite being able to cope with the disparity between the ethics imparted by our beloved childhood fairy tales and the reality of our sexual urges. (Snow White is not supposed to go "What the hell, if there's nothing but drarves around, I suppose that'll have to do" because Prince Charming is about to arrive.) So we think "OK, well I'll go ahead and be naughty, and to hell with prince Charming" and all the other little boys and girls go "Oooooh! What a filthy thing she is! No happily ever after for her..."
