Government Class

SK2005

Saint in training
I love my government class. We are doing a mock state legislature and 6th hour class is the senate (which I am in) and 1st hour is the house of reps. Everyone in the class had to write a bill that looked like the 'real' thing, and then we had committees and then we voted as a senate on the bills. That is where we are now, but next the bills are going to go to the other houses and be voted on. I love it, it is so fun, and we now know fully how everything works. *Round of applause to my teacher* :D

Has anyone had a class/teacher like this?

That sounds very exciting.

Unfortunately, Massachusetts does not provide the money, or teachers to handle "fun" things like this. Usually we do bookwork, and occasionally a test/quiz.

Lucky lucky you! :)
