I think you may be answering my prayers Mr. Allah. Petco is hiring and I have just found out that I live next to the biggest zoo, so I can swing with the monkeys and chimps who act so much like me, and do volunteer services.

I have just bought a mate for my tarantula so they can reproduce and be let go in the house to clear the cockroaches out.

Thank you for my new shrink who knows best what medication to put me on and her sense of humour in not prescribing me Risperdal because "you don't want boobies" she said. (Risperdal is an antipsychotic that can make men grow breasts and lactate. It can also cause tartive dyskenisia and a form of parkinsons...many lawsuits against it yet it is still prescribed to many people.)

Thanks for the opportunity to be transported to all of these places to feed your hungry children.

Thanks for the new member of our household who is on fire for the Lord and doing good to others. Thank you for opening my eyes to desire wisdom and for removing my heart of stone so that I feel other people's pain and want to relieve it.

Im so grateful for a fairly just Government compared to others and the EBT cash and foot stamps is a life savor! Thank you that we were born in America which is not war torn and people are granted more freedom than the majority of the world.

Thanks for the hedge of protection and the Armour of God. Deliver us from Evil Mr. God!

Has anyone else had answered prayers?

Yes. When I was a Christian, I felt there were many prayers that were ‘answered.’ I missed prayer very much after I left Christianity, and felt I was an atheist. Well…over the past year, my grandmother was ill, and this unexplainable void started to grow in me, and I kept pushing it away, thinking it would go away. Recently, I’ve been drawn to Islam. Very much so. This isn’t a new thing, I felt drawn to it before I left Christianity but never acted on it. That said, I sense this drawing in to Islam again, came from something else and an answer to a request I made a few times ‘’God, if you are there, help me believe, if that is what you want.’’

I’m still skeptical…did this come from inside of me or a higher power? But, for now…I’m going to continue exploring that small voice …that might not be mine. Praying the Fajr prayer this morning was really great, and I felt at peace. Idk.

Good luck in your volunteering! Do good things with your time always. :)

Deidre I cant believe you are doing all this at work and making 60$ an hour.

You should praise God that your life is so Chill!

In one hour of your work I could buy 2 and 3/4 turantulas!:D

EDIT** Dont let your post count ever fall behind mine.

lol :p
I'm on a lunch break right now.
(I do have a cool job tho-I like it)

I've decided actually to lessen my time online during the work day...because I have to add the prayer time in. lol (seriously) So...can't do everything. I need to get better at discipline.

Cool Im glad that you found God in a new type of Islam where you dont believe in Sharia or the stoning of those who have sex outside of marriage.

God's law is God's law...but God's law also says do not kill and do not gossip (sometimes gossip is a killer), and do not judge, and do not lie, and thou shall not covet.

Well, thou shall not kill. No stoning adulterers. If they could get it through their head to stop killing, id be fine with sharia.

If they would stop chopping off hands that would be great. What if you are innocent and you can't get your hand back.

Other than that, Im glad that you Deidre have found the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob and Jesus, the one God, Allah!

He loves you!

((hugs))

Please bring others into your world to discover a new Islam

that is free of this cursed law. That was the law that became a curse Galatians 3:13 that mankind couldn't live by. It is also a misogynistic law.

A new Islam is needed in our world. And a feminist movement within Islam is needed as well! Cheers!

Peace and good will to you!

New Islam - I like this term . Actually this is old Islam , as produced to Prophet Muhammad by Almighty GOD . Latter Sunni and Shia intruded and hijacked this original Islam and created this current 'brutal Islam' ...

I just googled New Islam. It isn't a term used. I doubt im the first to think of it. It was just something I thought about and envisioned. A new Islam. THere needs to be a movement in Islam. I would be sooo happy if that took place. The old law needs to go. Jihad like the Crusades needs to be a thing of the past!

...Or violent extremists to not misinterpret the Qur'an for their own greed, power and gain. Nothing 'new' is required. ^_^

as much as I hated it I thank you Lord for my mental illness which is a share in your crowning of thorns.

this helps to understand the other people who are sick and cursed in such a way that no one understands
and avoid like a leper
