Great Patriots, Mostly Peaceful: Trump’s Promise to Free Jan. 6 Inmates in DC Jail — Almost All of Them Assaulted Law Enforcement Officers

In some video coverage the Capitol Hill police were leading protesters around like it was a guided tour! Some cops may have sided with the Jan 6 crowd but then realized they were in trouble!

Can't imagine why they'd feel they were in trouble

.....not when so called "law and order" is corrupt! Crooked FBI agents lying to FISA courts using spurious claims from Russian intelligence agents paid for by the DNC!
That was one incident, not a pattern. And it was part of an investigation into a political campaign that had 112 meetings with Russians at a time when Russia was working to influence the 2016 election. Law enforcement take an oath to protect the USA from threats, both foreign and domestic, and especially when there is a connection.

I mean...magically on January 6, the cops become all holy, immaculate saints, virgins and martyrs. Amen. :)
It's truly amazing how you Magas can so aggressively
misunderstand what happened.
- It's not about cops being either good or bad.
- It's not about how leftish radicals are violent.
That is all just straw.
Trump & minions attempted a coup by insurrection
at the Capitol, ordering government officials to
over-turn the election with threats of prosecution,
& sending fake electors into states to vote for
Trump after he lost.

Thats what the (D) media wants you to see...... but there is another strange side to this story. Cops leading people around once inside the Capitol.

Something similar happened in my country.
The president didn't want to appoint the Prime Minister that the winning coalition had chosen.

Thousands of people threatened to protest before the Quirinal Palace... and at the same time the Parliamentarians promised they would impeach the President for high treason.

The next day...the President appointed the Prime Minister...

You know.... :)

The Capitol Police announced in September that three officers were facing discipline for unspecified noncriminal “conduct unbecoming” that day, while three others were facing discipline for other policy violations.
But no evidence has publicly emerged to date of even one officer inviting a rioter into the Capitol. And even if a few isolated incidents emerge in the future, it’s clear that this was not a widespread or systemic occurrence as Trump and others suggested.
Capitol Police Chief Tom Manger said on CNN in September: “The officers that we have investigated and disciplined, the cases that we investigated, they run from minor infractions to officers making very poor judgments for more serious misconduct. But this notion that the Capitol Police were somehow allowing these folks into the Capitol, inviting them in, helping them, just simply not true.”

In general, I think you are correct, but clearly some cops were trying to help protesters get into the Senate chamber.

One question: how do Americans think they will get free universal healthcare?
By virtue of the Holy Spirit?

They should rise up...and the army should side with them, because they deserve free healthcare too.
Oh...I forgot...they are content with the thirty pieces of silver the Government gives them.
Speaking only for myself, I am not content with pur health care system. It is broken and a sham and bankruptcy countless people every year who simply dared to get sick.

Similar?
Does this mean that you believe Trump
actually won the election against Biden?

If you call opposite similar.
In this case the former president and those he incited protested and attacked the Congress to prevent the will of the people from happening.

I saw a protest not an insurrection.
These might help....
Excerpted (due to paywall)....
One officer lost the tip of his right index finger. Others were smashed in the head with baseball bats, flag poles and pipes. Another lost consciousness after rioters used a metal barrier to push her into stairs as they tried to reach the Capitol steps during the assault on Jan. 6.

The Capitol assault resulted in one of the worst days of injuries for law enforcement in the United States since the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. About 140 officers — 73 from the Capitol Police and 65 from the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington — were injured, the departments have said. They ranged from bruises and lacerations to more serious damage such as concussions, rib fractures, burns and even a mild heart attack.

Well I wouldn't blame the health care system itself, blame the people who insist that you pay for it out of pocket.
It is the people who are against the idea of universal health care that cause the bankruptcies. They are the ones who force those in most dire need to declare bankruptcy and then we pay for it anyhow through taxes since hospitals are not allowed to turn people away.
In other words, we pay for the health care of those who cant afford it anyhow, why not keep them out of bankruptcy.
