Hello acolyte. I had to Google this one.

This is what I found.....

Nephilism

Nephilism is a contemporary contemplative philosophy and spiritual path, as well as esoteric tradition employing the archetype of the Nephilim and utilizing mystical caballah and Enochian magic.

Biblical tradition describes the Nephilim as;

“It happened after the sons of men had multiplied in those days, that daughters were born to them, elegant and beautiful. And when the angels, the sons of heaven beheld them, they became enamored of them, saying to each other, Come, let us select for ourselves wives from the progeny of men, and let us beget children. Then they took wives, each choosing for himself; whom they began to approach, and with whom they cohabitated; teaching them sorcery, incantations, all the secret things which are done in the heavens.”

Bruno Rodan, biblical scholar and Enochian magician, has recently began to author the Nephilim Bible and founded the
Church ov the Nephilimand Order ov Anakim (OA). Both organizations dedicated to exploring and establishing the Nephilism philosophy, mysteries and Nephilic magick.

Nephilic magick is a wide system which covers includes Enochian, Goetia, Kaos and Caballah and is primarily practised by Nephilists. The foremost order promoting and exploring this system is known as the Order ov Anakim (OA)."

Is this a fair definition?

If it is, I have two problems with it.

1) The Nephilim were all destroyed in the flood, so there were no survivors except for Noah and his family totalling 8 people. The demonic fathers of these monstrous bullies were sent back to the spirit realm to be sentenced and restrained from taking on human flesh again.

"So all living creatures that were moving on the earth perished —the flying creatures, the domestic animals, the wild animals, the swarming creatures, and all mankind. Everything on dry land that had the breath of life in its nostrils died. So He wiped every living thing from the surface of the earth, including man, animals, creeping animals, and the flying creatures of the sky. They were all wiped off the earth; only Noah and those with him in the ark survived. And the waters continued overwhelming the earth for 150 days." (Gen 7:21-24)

2) The "Anachim" mentioned in Deuteronomy are the sons of Anak, who had to have descended from Noah. These are mentioned about 850 years after the flood during the period when Joshua was to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land.,

According to my sources.....

"An′a·kim. [Those of (Belonging to) Anak].

A race of people of extraordinary size who inhabited the mountainous regions of Canaan as well as some coastal areas, particularly in the S thereof. At one time three prominent men of the Anakim, that is, Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, resided at Hebron. (Num 13:22) It was here that the 12 Hebrew spies first saw the Anakim, and 10 of the spies subsequently gave a frightening report of the experience, alleging that these men were descendants of the pre-Flood Nephilim and that, by comparison with them, the Hebrews were like “grasshoppers.” (Num 13:28-33; De 1:28) Their great stature caused them to be used as a standard of comparison in describing even the giantlike men of the Emim and the Rephaim. Their strength apparently produced the proverbial saying: “Who can make a firm stand before the sons of Anak?”—Deut 2:10, 11, 20, 21; 9:1-3."
(Insight Volumes WTBTS)

No doubt legends abounded after the flood among Noah's descendants. But legends are all there were. None of the original Nephilim were left on earth, but I guess that did not stop humans from imagining that extraordinarily tall people could somehow be connected to the Nephilim. There was, however no physical connection...only in the imaginings of men. The Philistine giant, Goliath for example, was around 9 feet tall.

It also stands to reason that men would want to deify such larger than life characters. Greek mythology was based on them.

Is there a reason why you were attracted to this 'religion' and why you are 'proud' of it? Just curious...... :)
