Mapping the paht back to the Source
Hi Everybody,
I have recently found this forum while googling for articles relevant to my present research. It’s a pity I have not come here sooner; it would have been a great resource. Anyway, better later than never, right?
I don't follow any religion in its strictest form (although I did that in the past), therefore I don’t belong to any religion. But I consider the subject of religions (which supposed to be the striving to understand our reality) and philosophy of extreme importance.
Since people like to put others and generally all things into known boxes, or categories, I could perhaps fit into the category of truth seekers. I have studied religions and related philosophical concepts for decades, and also practised relevant disciplines. Presently my efforts are on deepening my knowledge in this field to crystallize the best path for me towards the right understanding of our reality, and permanent happiness. I will publish my findings and understanding on my website and perhaps in a book or two later.
I would need some advise about where to post my stuff on this forum, since after reading the forum rules it looks like it is very easy here to step on somebody’s toe and get banned. OK, so what is the subject I am trying to discuss here?
Based on my readings on the internet it appears that the Cabal (the rulers of the world) are trying to establish a new world religion which would serve their interests to mislead people and keep us in darkness. This is done mainly by collecting disempowering concepts from all religions and mix them together with a tiny sprinkling of truth to create the new religion that would be forced upon everybody.
My intent and efforts are aimed in the opposite direction, namely to take a look at all religions, philosophies, and doctrines that have some value to offer, and pick the value and truth from them to help us figure out what is the most likely truth about our existence. This process also involves the recognizing of claims and concepts that are convincingly false or make no sense, or are otherwise useless. So obviously I will have to criticise some parts of all religions, while also agree with and use some other concepts and practices of those religions. So which is the sub-forum here that allows the criticising of all religions and philosophies without getting banned? I would also prefer a place that is read by many people, because many brains can offer deeper insights than what could be expected from only a few.
For example would it be proper to post such discussion in ‘General Religious Debates’ section? The ‘Comparative Religion’ also sounds right, but it seems to have much fewer readership, therefore not as useful for my purpose as the other one.
Sometimes I will also post in areas where such criticism is not allowed, to ask questions just to accurately understand the official stand of certain religions on specific topics. I also hope that posting links to my articles on my website will not be interpreted as spamming, since they tend to be quite long, and reposting them here in their entirety seems counterproductive and meaningless.
I prefer to keep other personal information private, since my conviction is that one should be known by his/her thoughts, words, and actions and not by age, nationality, location, wealth, fame etc.
Looking forward to your suggestions what to post where…
