My name is Nadeem Feroze and I am Oblate Novice of St. Benedict. I am citizen of the Pakistan and live and work in Pakistan.
Everybody knows that the Christian here are really deprived and suffering and I have great compassion to do something for them. This is just a little I am leading some teen and adult youth groups volunteer.
In which I teach the poor children materialistic and religious education. I have been organizing different festivals on different occasion and events. I have been organizing these festivals to improve confidence of children and preach them; I have been paying attention to teach children religious education particularly. I have been worked on primary health, education (formal and informal) global peace, drugs and also community problems (conflict resolution/mediation). Especially I have been teaching catechism to prepared children for FIRST HOLY COMMUNION every year.
As I told you before Christians in Pakistan suffer from discrimination and oppression due to their faith.
Due to this discrimination, Christians do not have many opportunities to acquire jobs in Pakistan. We are minorities in Pakistan, and most days we struggle to earn a living wage to feed our children.
We see the suffering in the faces of our aging parents, our children, and our brothers and sister, and it has inspired us to put the Gospel Message into action: we hear the cry of our Lord to bring hope, dignity, and self-sufficiency to the downtrodden and the poor.
Our community is bursting forth with creativity and excellent skills in the handmade cards and other stuff. At the moment we are making hand made cards.
Most likely, it will go to send our kids to school, pay for doctors appointments, and also for dowries so the A portion of the money made from whatever we sell will go to support the Daughters of the Cross and their ministry with the poor.
