We didn't have any tire swings in my park.

Growing up did you like the tire swings at the park?I did.
No park nearby and the nearest one(s), several miles away, didn't have tyre swings but swings with wooden seats, roundabouts and seasaws.
I did make a swing by tying a rope to a tree and tying a branch to it. I could swing out over the river, often letting go and dropping into the water.

We had one in our "backyard" too. We lived on a farm and where the backyard ended was usually before the swing.
