This should come as no surprise. Trump is doing exactly what he said he would do. The US has a very poor voting record and combined with the complacency we allowed ourselves to fall into has possibly caused the worst threat to our Republic outside of war. Between corporate America and those who carry the Bible in one hand and a gun in the other and a mouthpiece who promises to regress to when everything seemed white and Christian, the damage done could last for generations. This has been in the works for years, and with Trump is found the vehicle to drive the country in their direction. Its going to take years to undo, beginning with massive voting efforts from the ground up. Especially now with an AG who is against voting rights!

You do know that I am a liberal, don't you? If you knew your elbow from your behind, you'd also be aware that it is a common complaint amongst many liberals about Democrats in power. So yes, Democrats need to stop letting themselves be bullied like we see here, like we'll probably see with Trump's Supreme Court nomination filibuster and and like we saw with trying to get America single payer health insurance.
