So I've heard of Gypsy Rose's story. A young girl gets 30 unneeded surgeries cuz mom has MBP. Convinces an autistic guy who was unable to care for himself to murder her mom.

I havent watched but a few youtube clips of the documentary and also other videos on the story but always found that story suspect. 30 unneeded surgeries? I can believe one or two but 30?The diagnosis of MBP only being suggested after her mother's death? MBP was never formally diagnosed? How can you diagnose a dead person? Well...there's some people theorizing that Gypsy Rose had a diagnosed chromosome disorder. Why she had vision surgery, a wheelchair and a feeding tube. And that there still was malingering her mom decided to lie about how many surgeries she had and her diagnoses and convinced Gypsy Rose to pretend to be more ill as a result to con the public for fame and money. Because Gyspy was famous prior to the murder and her mom got a lot of money and support from airing her on TV.

Here's a link to that theory

This is a photo from the article on the genetic test that was done on Gypsy Rose. I hope yall can read it ok

Now I'm not saying Gyspy wasn't abused. Admittedly I ain't read enough on the case to know for certain. But to me this sounds more plausible then 30 unneeded surgeries done on a child by different doctors one being an unneeded feeding tube. Added to everytime I see a video on her her story changes and she did say that her mom taught her to lie well. That she was a good liar. I can't help but think it's plausible but can't say for certain as I'm just starting to read up on it. Thoughts?

I am glad she's free now.

I am saddened that the guy will pass his best years in prison. Being an autistic, that's an injustice.

I'm not sure Nick was an innocent person either in the story. An honest one as he quickly admitted to everything in detail possibly manipulated to murder but I'm uncertain if the autism was the cause there. Anyone can be manipulated autistic or not and he seemed to have had other issues going on. He still stabbed a woman to death. That's not an innocent act. His reasons may or may not have been good but there was alternitives to killing the woman. Could he understand that or was he manipulated into thinking that it was the only way to save Gypsy Rose? Idk.

I do know his mom stated that he could not care for himself and wasn't bright easily manipulated. That's it.

In my country he would be free after 10-15 years.
I mean...he didn't stab an immaculate saint...
