Top 10 Haunted Hotels in the United States
Even if you are brave enough to stay overnight in a haunted hotel, there are no guarantees you'll see a ghost. Staying up all night, being in the right place at the right time, and quietly observing changes in temperature, smells, and sounds in the room can all help your odds of a close encounter with a restless spirit. Of course, if you pick one of the most haunted hotels in America, your odds may go up as well.

The only haunted places in Guernsey is the pubs, we don't have ghosts like you big places, they are haunts for the locals propping the bar up & moaning alot, scary.

I have a friend who built a house on a plot of land where there had once been a monastery; before having permission to build, they had to have English Heritage examine the land (at their cost - over a period of six months).

They called their beautiful house 'The little monk' - after the supposed Ghost of a monk that is supposed to have been seen lurking in the area. As far as I know, my friends have never seen the monk, although Alan likes spirits....:D (The liquid kind)

It would be really cool to see a ghost, don't you think ?
I'm not so sure! :) I've seen what I'm almost certain were spirits, and a couple of those weren't happy ones. (They weren't angry, simply confused or misunderstood.)
