I think I will go the old-fashioned route, and also it's very comfortable... Tunic, woolen Peplos and some accessories. Celtic style around 200CE

I played one back in the 90's too. The cane walk is complicated I'm learning. I'm not sure if I'll be able to pull it off, but I'll try. My cane is short, so I have to slouch over, then pretend I'm struggling with it. It may or may not be too exaggerated. I can take some baby powder to make my hair look old, and I forget what I did to my face back then, but I was able to do defined wrinkles. I'm not sure if I did that for Halloween though.

... or I could be a vampire like everyone else. I'll blend better then. It'll be my camo.

My grandest costume was when I was a young man.

My costume was so convincing, no one knew who I was! My own boyfriend didn't recognize me, my friends wouldn't talk to me at first(until I let them know who I was).

I loved it, though. I got to see what it was like to be perceived as a man for a day.

We fill up bucket with various Halloween chocolates and sweets and and a couple of packs of mini choc bars. This year we are covering the lot in a mixture straw and slime thats been chilled in the fridge. Each of the children is asked to plunge a hand in and take what they can.
