Thank you all so much, and I didn't see this thread until just now, btw.
Besides being my 71st birthday, it was also my wife's and my 49th anniversary.
I met her when I worked for the DPW dumping garbage at a small restaurant she was a waitress at, and I would tease her and steal her french fries. I finally asked her out after a while, we went to see Doctor Zhivago in downtown Detroit, and I tricked her into walking into the men's bathroom. In spite of my nonsense, she married me, and we have three "kids" and eight grandkids, who we tease and love them a lot.
