As a Christian; I must ask; Do people still today “celebrate” the wanton murder of every child in Egypt- as a holliday; these days?

Just curious :)-
Passover isn't about the plagues its about leaving Egypt. The plagues played a part in that process but they're secondary to the theme of the holiday which is leaving exile. So no, I don't think anyone celebrates any of the plagues.

Also, it was neither wanton nor every child.
