Another 584 million mile trip around the Sun complete. The days are officially getting longer for those of us in the Northern hemisphere. Sunrises and sunsets will start moving back north again. Many mammals will start reversing their annual fur growth cycles. And so on..

Cheers !

Those who stand upside-down will of course morn the fading of the light. But I'm happy - more or less, relatively.

Happy solstice to you too. But now I have to get all pedantic. Apologies ahead of time. The sun has been setting later and later for about a week. To balance that out sunrises will not begin to get earlier and earlier for another week. We just passed the point where they balance. The net effect has been for days to just start to get longer.
