Friends,

Obama is leading in spreading awareness about not killing animals by pardon the turkey; but only did not follow how the turkey committed a grave crime to entitle a death sentence anyway.
On the other hand it should have been the Turkey pardoning the President as a symbolic gesture of so many Americans having killed so many turkeys in the past.
Hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Once again, Happy Thanksgiving.

Mine was the discarded wrapper from a chicken sandwich and potato peels I found in a dumpster. That's pretty much how I pictured things going though.

At least it is a step up from your usual vegetarian fayre of soup made from the memory of noodles :D

Thank you for the Happy bit, and to celebrate the establishment of a new civilization in a foreign land.
My only question is what do the Native American Indians think of this precursor to the Genocide event that followed, and should it be celebrated?

Cheers

Thanksgiving wasn't exactly the precursor- Europeans had been raiding villages and enslaving the natives and sending them back to England for about a century before the Thanksgiving event.
I grew up in the Pacific NW and many of my friends were Umpqua or Chinook; most just appreciated a day off from school like anyone else. The Native Americans I knew celebrated Thanksgiving mainly as an excuse to get time off work and spend time with family and friends. So they celebrated just like everyone else I've known.
