Harris Called Out For Being A Communist

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
That’s the free market that you conservatives want to have. Deal with the consequences of higher costs.
Oh little ole' me isn't going to do anything, but the collective can. But I'm just going to have to be patient and wait till things bottom out to see what happens after.

I know enough about it that is hideously expensive, not that long lasting, time consuming, and has only limited success.

There is a niche placement for it but it is certainly not ready for prime time.
What is it that you know that nobody else does?
Please tell us so that we can save the world with cheaper energy?

Levelized cost of energy (LCOE) is a metric that measures the average cost of producing electricity over the lifetime of an energy source. It's calculated by dividing the total annualized cost of the system by the total electrical load served, and is expressed in average cost per kilowatt hour (kWh).

LCOE is used to help determine the viability of an electricity generation project, and can also be used to compare different methods of electricity generation. It's also a basis for economic comparative analyses that can help determine the most viable energy source for a particular site. For example, a 2023 report from consultancy firm EY found that solar PV has a 29% lower LCOE than the cheapest fossil fuel alternative.

But if things here could be improved by adopting what's successful elsewhere, why not investigate?
I live in the same peoples republic he so derides and there are 3 large solar arrays within 10 miles of me and another to be constructed soon that was originally to be a wind farm till solar became more efficient for the site involved. I also get a discount off my electric bill for buying my electricity from them. There were the usual NIMBYs but once they realized it really didn't hurt them, they have shut up.
