so do you believers look forward to...

rings on your fingers and crowns on your heads?

wandering about in grassy meadows ....like sheep?

standing in choir and singing praise like a broken record?

sitting at the Table not properly dressed?
My god that sounds like hell.

here in this life we seem to.....
you say as you please....for the most part
you do as you deem proper.....as you are able

what if greater disciplines are required?

walk among the angelic?.....with grace?.....as if we belong among them?

How is this implying that people will have a choice? You have a choice here/, but in the afterlife, you are already ''there''. Where is the ''choice'', that you are talking about?

Your getting plain burgers? Is that ''your way''?

Any kind.... Beef, chicken, or fish. I have no idea why burger king effects me like that. It's the same situation even if I go to a burger king out of state. =/

The only thing "my way" about it is that I get to choose to take my money elsewhere. ;)

What do you mean "have it your way"?
Seems obvious what he means.

Hmm, there isn't a Burger King, close to me. I usually end up going to Carl's Jr. /for those on the east coast, that's Hardees/
Then again, I'll go pretty much anywhere. ;)

Hmmmm... Honestly, I'm not a big fan of fast food. Why spend 9.00$+ on a burger and fries when I can go to several different local joints for nearly half the price and eat food that's superior in every way? ;)

Because that wouldn't be the same type of food. ;)

you are suggesting?.....preparation with no expectation?

I would counter....any preparation carries expectation within it
Undefined expectation means just that...expectation...but not explicit....as in 1 Corinthians 2:9
.....But as Scripture says: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined the things that God has prepared for those who love him.”

The means to an end becomes the end....love God with all you heart, soul, mind, and strength and the rest will follow....but the divine love is on the other side of any conceptual expectation....

well the rest of the participants wanna hang out at Burger King......forever....

got something better in mind?

That is sort of the point, here, though. Merely because you 'want' the afterlife to be a certain way, why would you think it is? That certainly is not traditional at least in Biblical narrative. If you have some idea about this, i think you need to explain why, how you arrived at your conclusions.

oh....me first?

I see this life as a means to form spirit, unique on each occasion.
why....should be the next question....
and that answer is......God speaking to His Echo.....is just that.

so here we are
each one learning a different scheme of thought and feeling

if I spend one year of time with each one, surviving the last breath....
I will be busy for billions of years.
if we each manage to survive the last breath

but I also suspect hierarchy and peace keeping.
Someone will be in charge.
otherwise we would stand into a chaos even greater than this we already know.
