Gosh, are you pregnant again?Happens all the time...
I don't generally get cravings for food or drink. But if I feel I want something particular, I can easily pop out to the shops for it.Have you ever noticed? When you get a craving? For something to eat or drink? It's for the one thing that isn't in your house?

What was your main pregnancy craving? Or two, or three?Happens all the time...

Boss had many aversions, and morning sickness worse than my hangovers, and I get bad hangovers.I sure hope not... Actually, I'm certain I'm not at the moment. Hubby wishes for more, but he shall go wanting.
I had more aversions than cravings while pregnant, really. And the kids seemed to prefer what they did as babies and toddlers as what they allowed me to eat while pregnant with them(fruit and dairy with the oldest, chocolate with the next, very spicy with the last).
I remember when I got pregnant with the middle one. It wasn't something we were really expecting. We'd tried for close to two years and didn't think it was going to happen, and had pretty much given up hope. When it did, I'd just made a freezer full of an Albanian favorite... and all the sudden, the very sight of it made me ill. I remember opening the freezer once and throwing up because I saw it. What a waste...
With the middle one I did often want a Snicker's ice cream bar. The coldness helped the nausea go away(I was quite ill with all three of them).
Not only not in the house, they don't even make it anymore.Have you ever noticed? When you get a craving? For something to eat or drink? It's for the one thing that isn't in your house?

Boss was 22. I was in university, and after the birth was also tough, because the baby didn't sleep. She also had a ridiculously long labour. I so wanted to take some of the pain.I was 20 when I was first pregnant, and most of the people I was around were men/boys of approximately the same age or younger.

Pizza spins. Best snack ever made.I was 20 when I was first pregnant, and most of the people I was around were men/boys of approximately the same age or younger. One was irritated with me for complaining too much until I threw up all over in front of him. He got quiet and said "I didn't think you actually threw up..."
All my pregnancies were hard on me, but I remember feeling lost with the first. It was unplanned, I was unmarried, and some in the family weren't real nice to me about it. I remember being told to sit on the floor at a family gathering, where 'kids' belong, even though I was too bulbous to get up and down easily at that point.
I also remember crying at a store employee while trying to find a new shirt. She was younger than I was, and I told her I needed a shirt. She asked what size, and I cried and told her I didn't know. She was very sympathetic, and helped me find a top that laced up, so it could get bigger when I needed it to, and smaller again later(wise choice).
What is it?
About 36 hours, that time, but she was always rather strange, in that the labour would go really slowly at first, and then once she got to about 7 cm ... whoa there cowgirl. The first baby was delivered by a nurse, the second one nearly fell through the cracks between the two beds (old style procedure) and the 2 midwives who were having coffee in the kitchen nearly missed another one. By the time #5 rolled around, the hospital decided they should believe us. She got quicker. The last one was only about 4 hours. I was the breathing coach always, but I must admit I did a lousy job. You're pretty much a dumbass witness. That sounds really tough. How long was it for her?

How long were yours?
Is that a cereal, or just a snack?
I wonder if that's an overall pattern, as Boss's got shorter as well.Is that a cereal, or just a snack?
Wow! That's a really long time! Poor woman!
18 hours for me for the first one, 12 the second, and 6 the third. Based on those numbers, should I ever become pregnant again, I'll just have to lean over and ask someone to pull my finger...

Yup.
I had a craving for monster munch recently. Obviously I didn't have any in so I went to my local shop to get some. Unfortunately they didn't have any as they have this nasty habit of shuffling stock, basically guaranteeing that anything you like is only going to be available sometimes.
It's annoying. I still want some monster munch.
