What songs or musicians remind you of someone you love almost the second they're played?

Almost any song by Cold Play instantly brings up feelings for my husband....the piano often makes me cry it's so beautiful.

Ever notice too how music can make you feel things you don't otherwise often feel?

How about you?

Video Kid.

It's a New Zealand band and the songs really remind me of my husband, especially the last one on their album, it's entitled, "Slip Away." It is a man singing to his 'sweetheart'.

A friend of mine always said that when in love or even heartache you should not listen to your favourite music as it would ruin your original feeling about that music forever. I noticed he's right.
Therefor I always choose music that is not that familiar to me but sounds beautifull..

Ehr, works like a charm but that also results in the fact that I do not know any title or artist right now :D

Tiny Dancer reminds me of someone I was once very close too. Very nostalgic, yet heart-wrenching time of my life.

Tiny Dancer is that type of song isn't it? There's something very melancholy and nostalgic about it. I've cried to that tune before....just because.

I think that's true too. Or, it at least always reminds you of that lost person every time you hear it.

"Fools Rush In". When my husband and I first started seeing each other, he would constantly play it when we were talking over the phone. I still get weak whenever I hear it! :hearts:
