The wages of sin is death but gift from God is eternal life. Romans 6:23. For a long time I believed in the hell theory but after much prayer and scripture reading I feel God has revealed to me the truth. If we accept Jesus as Lord And Saviour we are promised eternal life if not our body and soul will die. I believe we can live in a hell in our minds.

Yes, death is the punishment for sin, not eternal torment. (Romans 5:12) Since God is Love, it is inconceivable, at least to me, that he would torture persons. He takes no delight in the death of wicked ones. So the hellfire doctrine is a wicked slander against the true God. (1 John 4:8 and Ezekiel 18:32)

Thank you for your replie back there are so many things I have learned over the years with prayer and scripture reading God has revealed to me the truths through his spirit.

Living forever as a human would be boring anyway. I'd much prefer acheiving nigh-eternal life the long way around, i.e. sufficiently advanced technology.
