heaven

Think about it, would you really want to go to heaven or have any kind of afterlife? I'm not asking if you think it exists, but assuming it does, would you want to go? I would't. I think it would get extremely boring after a while.
Thoughts please.

I think I'm all for an afterlife. I don't know if it would get boring or not, but hey, real life gets boring, but then it gets exciting every now and then, too. I'd take a sometimes boring existence over nothingness any day. Plus, who's to say the afterlife would get boring. Maybe it's one big party - and in that case, who's bringing the chips?

No. I'm sure there's going to be tons of stuff to do.

Wouldn't the bad things that happened in our previous lives still allow the never-ending good things to seem good, even though there is nothing bad happening in the afterlife (could I have made that any harder to follow?)? And who's to say the afterlife will be devoid of bad things? Who's to say there isn't a chain of afterlifes, where each afterlife isn't permanent, but tempory, and then results in entering another afterlife, and so on?

Death is a continuation of Life it's not really an afterlife. I have no idea what it is, but I hope it's not boring.

Well if you believe in the Christian heaven,....we won't be bound by time in eternity. I imagine it to be never ending joy! I know that sounds corny but heaven will be glorious beyond our imagination and everything will be perfect! So, in other words....no way will it be boring!

I think that the afterlife, (as i am a christian, heaven) will be spent worshiping God and doing events to further his kingdom. Therefore I don't think that I'll be bored. Just a perspective...

Thanks. I'll bring the cheese, cracker, and salami tray.
We're gonna need a good DVD too. I hear the surround sound systems in heaven are awesome. The hologram projection TV's are amazing there too. Feels like you are part of the action.

Boy, I could sure use some never-ending joy! :D That kind of boredom appeals to me quite a bit.

I find the pains and hardships to be as much of a spice to life as the joys and prosperous times. Personally, I would eventually get bored if I never had to work, and would never have to work again because I had alot of money. The idea of an eternal "perfect life," for me, is worse to think about. And, if Heaven doesn't have computers that can access RF, it would be all that much worse.

But perfection is boring. Think about it, you'll never be able to improve anything because it will all be perfect.

Heaven will be nice because I can do basically what I please and have never ending joy!

And if I do get bored, I could ask God if I can go back to Earth for another life or two so it works for me!

Yay 1st post!
