Hello all, I'm going to be in my fourth-year at university and am studying double-major biology and psychology with minor in sociology. I'm especially interested in psychology from a biological viewpoint, neurology, pharmacology and some evolutionary biology. I took a course in forensic psychology with some FBI, RCMP and other experts giving some guest lectures, and that also opened me up to law and crime, hence sociology.
I consider myself an atheist but am studying (i.e. reading websites and books) Satanism, both theistic Satanism and symbolic Satanism (LaVeyan & Setian). My reason for studying this may sound a bit silly but I always heard people blaming the devil or Satan or whatever else for "bad things". I wondered what Satan's view on this would be because I realized not many seem to know much on him. I started with exploring LaVeyan Satanism in part due to its popularity, then after liking some of it, I'm moving onto theistic Satanism ans such.
Despite me studying it, I don't call myself a Satanist because I don't believe I've learned enough of it yet to brand myself with that title in an effort to both avoid fueling more public misunderstanding on it as well as having much ignorance due to lack of knowledge.
