I've been browsing your site, and I think it will be a fun experience.
I'm interested in discussing ideas, and unfortunately my co-workers and much of my family are not. So I turn to the internet .......
I spend much of my time (way too much probably) at a political debate site. Unfortunately every thread with religion as a topic quickly becomes nothing more than a shouting match. I'm looking for a place where civil discussions and an exchange of ideas can take place.
As for my personal beliefs, I'm in between religions. I was raised baptist, and fell out of my religion in my early teens. After trying (unsuccessfully) to find my faith again after my children were born, I gave up on religion for a time.
Eventually, however, God and faith became a recurring theme in my thoughts. This time, instead of trying to force my beliefs into a religion, I've decided to find the religion that fits my beliefs. So far it's been a very interesting journey.
