Hello and Namaste!

My name is Dharmagosha, I am a Buddhist. I don't strictly follow a particular sect or school but my practice mainly resembles Vajrayana and Mahayana principles.

I also practice Yoga and take inspiration from the Yogacara school of Tibetan Buddhism.

Oh and I also love the Zen. And some Dzogchen; so as you can see, I'm something of an all rounder!

I'm in the UK and attend Meditation as part of my local NKT (New Kadampa Tradition) Centre.

Great to be here!

Hello there! :)
I am in the UK also, and have been going to a NKT Centre in Derby for a few months now.
I do find it slightly interesting with your profile picture of The Dalai Lama, as there is slight tension with The Dalai Lama and Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

Thank you. :)

That's exactly why I use the picture of His Holiness.

My local NKT Centre is a great local collection of teachers and Sangha... but I will not engage in politics; high level or low level.

The day I am asked to renounce HH, is the day I would find a new Sangha. But I don't think it would happen. Maybe all NKT centres are different. For the one I attend, perhaps the politics exist at the highest level, but on a day to day, class to class basis, it's a good environment.

That's good ethics. :)
My Centre won't even talk about politics unless someone where to ask, I feel it is just a big distraction from meditation. Did you just get banned?
