Hi every1. I just joined this site & wanted to greet you. I am from New York, USA. I have many thoughts about Religion & wanted to see if others shared any similar views. I was baptized a Protestant about 10-12 years ago & when I pray , I pray to God....however , I often wonder if the God or Gods we are talking about , from all around the world are the same. They are , at least , the same TYPE of being. If God is not of this world , does that make make Him an Extra-terrestrial by definition? Did an ancient astronaut show up on our planet & their technology mistaken for omnipotence? Did Human beings get the concept of a "God or Gods" from aliens visiting this world? I have a lot of these types of questions & ideas. I DO believe that we are a people with amnesia. I think that there is much we have forgotten & also, that we have lost many abilities that we once had. I think that humans have started-over , more than once. I also believe that many different beings besides humans were here B4 us , as well. I believe that we were once much more in tune with the planet & it's creator. So many ancient cultures around the world have had knowledge that was/is impossible for them to have known at the time they existed. Arguably , the 1st known civilization , the Sumerians , knew how our solar-system worked , knew the order of the planets , their relative sizes & even their colors!! How is this possible? For reasons like this.... is why I am here. I am not looking for a UFO or Government-conspiracy web-site, altho , it may sound like it , but , I want to address these ideas from a spiritual perspective. I believe that thru a closeness with a higher power is the only way to learn the truth. There are so many things that cannot be explained & yet , for some reason , people just shrug their shoulders & say..." Hmm , that's weird"...and move on. WAIT!...HOLD ON! I want to know more...........
