As you most certainly can tell, I'm new here. I've joined this forum because I am interested in religion (not converting to any new religion or finding 'the one truth') and am also planning on majoring in Religious Studies in college. I figured that it is always better to get to know people than to simply read, read, read in a dim library. (Not to say that isn't useful and valid when learning about religion--but I feel the living, breathing component is what truly matters as the followers shape the religion itself.)

Please understand that I am young (not terribly young) and sometimes prone to saying the most ridiculous, stupidest things you will likely ever hear. However, I do try to always think before I type. And I am not prone to loud, angry outbursts as many of my age group. I only ask that my inevitable stupidity be met with understanding and knowledge to combat my ignorance. I am always willing to learn and discover.

Ah, there I go, talking about myself. I hope to find myself a good place in this community as well as to learn much from everyone.

Much love~

Awe, you don't have to be young to say ridiculous or stupid things here, it's just part of the territory... well, for some of us... like me, haha!
Welcom, and good luck on your path.

Welcome to the forums! You're just beating your self up unnecessarily. :D But it's never a bad thing to recognize that you're young and prone to saying things you don't always mean (I feel the same way xD)

Help me along will ya?
What does "majoring in Religious studies in college" mean?
(I am from europe)
How does that for example relate to a bachelor or masters in a university?

Please understand that I am young (not terribly young) and sometimes prone to saying the most ridiculous, stupidest things you will likely ever hear.
Don't worry.... I have heard a lot of nonsense and some years ago much came from my mouth;)

However, I do try to always think before I type.
Thats a very intelligent statement :)
