We once did an "art car" for a First Night celebration (New Years Eve - non-alcoholic, party. We glued CDs all over it, painted it weird colors etc. It was not a real art car because it was not artistic but we had fun. THIS is a real art car
I think this is the direction I'm going to go this time, but all with religious symbolism.

@JustGeorge , how are you going to handle Ares or one of the others wanting to help you decorate the car?
I don't know how you could do it on a car but 3D art will look so cool.

I'm sure @It Aint Necessarily So has heard of the Missouri Brush Job, which is an option for any low income person in the Ozarks if they want their car painted. Is it a result of a high quality paint applied by expensive equipment? No. It's paint applied in a driveway with a brush. Insects stuck to the finish adds to the unique quality this process provides.
