I'm sure @It Aint Necessarily So has heard of the Missouri Brush Job, which is an option for any low income person in the Ozarks if they want their car painted. Is it a result of a high quality paint applied by expensive equipment? No. It's paint applied in a driveway with a brush. Insects stuck to the finish adds to the unique quality this process provides.
@Dan From Smithville told me about that.

As cool as that interior is, it totally would not survive my children.

@JustGeorge , how are you going to handle Ares or one of the others wanting to help you decorate the car?
I may give Ares something small to do. He says he likes to help, but in reality, he will just stand there and clap his hands. Yudhi will be given an area. He will actually decorate it. He draws on everything(often without permission, or persimmons, as he says).

But should we just limit ourselves to color? Before @JustGeorge has any limiting thoughts, this:

I'm in the middle of that movie now - Mad Max Fury Road.

You make me homesick.

A boy is looking for odd jobs to do to earn a few bucks, knocks on a door, and is hired to paint the porch green. He returns an hour later with bucket and brush in hand to be paid, and explains that that was a Lamborghini, not a Porch.

One thing to watch out for. In the mists of the past, a friend had a model A Ford that needed painting. We had a spray gun and painted it black. Our utter lack of skill was evident in the result.

But that reminds me that sometimes music can spark creative juices

LeeAnder just painted his car rather poorly, and was awfully upset with himself over it.

I thought it would fit @JustGeorge. And it's a typical women's car. It has a high sitting position, lots of room, and you have a clear understanding where it starts and ends. If you get the syncro (4x4) version, it has also surprising off-road qualities (for those living in more rural areas).
And it's a big canvas for creative ideas.
I love VW vans and bugs, maybe not the newer selections. I think the Mercedes Sprinter and the Ram Promaster are the only 4x4/AWD vans left in the market. Still can't beat the old school VW.

When you're painting, you might want a helpful bhajan or mantra. And the images might also inspire you.
