You live alone. You stay home by yourself a lot. No one sees you.
John knows your schedule and knows when you have no alibi.
He commits a crime and plants a bottle with your prints and cigarette butts with your DNA at the scene.

You have no alibi, your finger prints and DNA are found at the scene of the crime. You are picked up and charged.

Will you beat the charges?

Do something and blame it on/set up someone else as if they did it.

I think you're right. Makes me wonder the minimal amount of evidence one needs to be proven guilty.

No, I actually remember an officer coming in and taking our fingerprints. Maybe they were just showing us how it's done, I guess. I suppose as you grow your prints change drastically.

There was a case like that in the good series Medical Detectives. Fortunately the innocent man who had his ID card stolen by a flat mate had a alibi. Could happen. Maybe we all need to go out more.
