"Pagan philosopher, libertarian, and part time troublemaker."

That's how I usually introduce myself because I believe in being honest. There are a few other details. I am a recovering Corporate Clone. Rabid Macintosh user. Palm PDA addict. I'm one of the few Pagans who doesn't accept that global warming is a proven fact, and KYFHO is pretty much my guiding philosophy.

Except when it isn't, of course. ;)

I'm a bit interested in everything with a few notable exceptions. Romance novels. Professional sports. The annual rainfall in the Sahara. That sort of thing.

I look forward to nosing around here and there.

I'm glad to hear it; guess as you'll notice from my signature, I am with you all the way on that!

Please feel free to check out our guide for our newer members, from which there is also a link to the Forum rules with which you need to acquaint yourself (and there is a pretty good guide on what is not forum etiquette).

I hope you get to enjoy your time with us; please feel at home, and if there is anything about which you are not sure, please don't hesitate to ask.:)

Welcome to the Forums, Neo! I am very pleased you've decided to come by and post with us. Although, I confess that your lack of interest in the annual rainfall in the Sahara is shocking to those of us who follow it with devout interest.

Now now Sunstone. We , the devout few, must remain tolerant in the face of such... ah... "disinterest", understanding it is only borne of ...ah... "lack of knowledge". Remember, a little cheerful consciousness-raising goes a long way.

Neo, perhaps this

Project:
Follow the pattern of "Brother Camel, Sister Date Palm" and write your own creation myth. Read them aloud or bind them into a class book. Don't forget to include colorful illustrations!
would help spawn a new zeal for the Sahara in general, hopefully leading in future to a serious appreciation of the annual rainfall there.

:D
