Hey, Trump supporters -- this is what he thinks of you!

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
At one point, during a recent indoor rally, reporter Debra J. Saunders asked President Trump about the risk of contracting the potentially deadly disease, saying "Aren't you concerned about Oovid though in an enclosed room?" Trump's answer was that he was not concerned, with the revealing comment, 'Because you know why? I'm on a stage and it's very very away. And so I'm not concerned."

When Saunders asked the President, "What about the people here?" Trump replied, 'I'm more concerned about how close you are, to be honest."

There you have it, Trumpies -- your hero has thrown you under the bus.
Pelosi agrees with Trump. She feels the same way.

Is Pelosi holding events where thousands of people crowd together without masks? If she is that is incredibly irresponsible and dangerous.
Naw she just goes to hair salons. I suppose your right however considering the assembled rally that followed afterwards was much smaller and not comprised of her advocates.

Its funny that strong Democrat supporters used to be just as vehement about both Bush administrations, yet those two were led by much nicer, polished, better educated speakers who didn't grope women. Echo chamber. This.
I was not this vehement about GW.

Now that we’ve addressed your post’s whataboutism, what is your reaction to Trump’s comments in the OP?

IMO, not the president's job to babysit me into wearing a mask. I don't get this idea that the president leads anybody. If folks are listening to some politician about their health, maybe they deserve whatever happens.

People really need a iconic individual like a politician to tell them how to live their life? I guess maybe some people do but I hope that is never me.
You are missing the point. You don’t wear a mask to protect yourself. You wear it to protect others. Up to 45% of people who are infected are asymptomatic ... they spread it to others who get sick and die.

Think of it like this: 200,000 Americans are dead. That’s more deaths than every war since WWII combined. When you wear a mask, it’s like growing a “victory garden”. The purpose is not to benefit you but to contribute to the war effort.

Get it? It’s not just about you. We’re all on this plane together and there’s an orange baby in the pilot’s seat.

No, Trump is not in the pilot's seat. At least not any plane I am on. You're going to let a politician fly you around? Hey, good luck with that.

I’m not going to, no.

The millions who follow him on Twitter and soak up what he and his mouthpieces say on Fox News? They will. They do. You can see them at his rallies without masks.

Unfortunately, we all live in the same country. So Trump’s malevolent stupidity and the anti mask sentiments of his cult followers affects me. Which is why he needs to go.

Look at it this way. Since people without masks are going to literally according to the hype, drop dead in their tracks, its eliminating the competition and you'll be able to wear your mask forever and ever to your hearts content.

No! People without masks are going to infect other people, they are going to spread the virus, they are going to keep the pandemic going, they are going to get other people killed and they are going to stop the economy from coming back.

Have you not been paying attention this whole time?

Well there you go. Take off your mask and get em first!

Your postings here show a dangerous disdain for human life as is also seen in figure despoiling the White House.
He will be removed, and the world will cheer absence.
You could argue there's dangerous disdain for life on just about anything out there.

And here I was with a little dark humor, even helping ya along even.....

They are completely unsurprising. He is the same man as the first first time he ran, and the Republicans know it just as you do. What is truly and deeply disturbing is that the Democrats haven't changed anything in order to win. They're going to lose again in exactly the same way. They'd rather throw everything away then stop trying to drag all the country people into a future that the country people don't understand. Democrats (and Republicans) don't seem to understand what unity is. They are flushing everything we have down the toilet, and this thread is just more flushing.

Thanks. Why do you say the Democrats haven't changed anything in order to win? The Clintons are out of the picture. Do you think the Democrats should have nominated Bernie Sanders? The cries of socialism would never end and send half the country running into the arms of their orange fascist leader.
