Hi! Glad to be here.

I've had a terrible ordeal on Facebook when my friend invited me to join their "atheist" group (I didn't know that it was an atheist group, by the way) and to put it

quite blunty, I've had the worst day of my life reading post about how God could not exist and all sorts of blasphemy on the Lord Jesus. Anyway, I hope to get

inspired by other believers here and get insights and wisdom from their experiences with the Lord Jesus as well. I hope to share my life experiences in Christ

also and share God's goodness in my life with everyone.

God Bless,

Miriam

Hello, hope you have better experiences here. Don't take differing beliefs and opinions to heart so strongly.

Welcome to RF, miriam40012.
We have a bunch of pesky atheists here too, but we tolerate them as long as they stick within the rules. :p

Importantly, there are a set of DIR threads which allow you to post in the area representative of your faith, and where outsiders are restricted to respectful questions.

Peace be upon you.
Peace be on you. Welcome [from one who believes God is One and has no partner, and it is what beloved Prophet of God Jesus (on whom be peace and his mother too) taught originally, and his coming has been done too according to Ahmadiyya Muslims......Feel no offense please].

Welcome, Miriam.
Remember -- if you can't argue both/all sides of a controversy, you might not be familiar enough with the subject to hold a valid opinion.

... (finger over lip, and a wink) some of my best friends are atheits... in fact, the only ones who in London threatened to kill me in my face were not atheists... sort of something that makes me think about it, they said they were soldiers of God. But don't worry, I like you and am not an atheist either. I am a 330 million-theist. You seem sweet!

Hello, welcome to RF.
There are unfortunately, atheists here as well,. Atheists seem to be drawn to religious sites like wasps round a jam pot... haha.

I hope to hear something that is worth discussing. Most I think argue not discuss, so the argument goes nowhere.

I will try to inspire you and see what holes you can pick in it:

God exists by necessity. Something has to come from something, not nothing. Now there is this idea in science now that everything comes from 'nothing', but then they will spend a whole book telling you what that nothing is... so clearly not nothing. Even Micheo Kaku (scientists) says that something must have been and exist before the big bang. He says it is the multiverse. I agree.

Why do we limit God to one universe?

Ultimately, we all have what God gives us... all of which is within the mind. What is interesting is that we think that it is not, and that things exist outside of the mind. They might. But how does one know? It is still perceived in the mind as all things are.

We are an expression of the divine. We are consciousness expressed in physical terms, ripples on an ocean of existence which is God himself. What therefore exists, cannot die, but only change. It is in change that death is seen, as 'before' is not now seen, but rather 'after'. God will have all things brought to him perfected and complete.

He is expressed through consciousness for are sake though the feminine.

We are aspects of God. Now is that not amazing!

Ok... now I'm getting boring I suppose.... haha.

I will shut up.

Tell us of your life stories in Christ then... :)

Welcome aboard :D

I'm Muslim and my belief in God is different (therefore sorry for not being able to help), but I wouldn't question other people's beliefs like that. I think It is rude.

"I have my religion (belief) and you have yours" is the thought I believe we all should share respecting each other's feelings.
