No, you'll never see a straight pride parade because gay people wouldn't allow it. Deny it all you want, but it won't make it any less true.

I have to deal with it every time I speak my mind concerning homosexuality.
I'm made to feel ashamed of my opinion because the majority of people who chime in idiots who won't even try to understand what I've said. It's quite humorous, actually.

Nobody can make you feel ashamed of your opinion except yourself. Maybe you should listen to what yourself is telling you.

There's a team of gay people who get to approve and deny parade proposals? I was not aware of this. :sarcastic

Okay, fine - you can have a parade, then. ;)

Violet.
We need a PEOPLE PRIDE PARADE!

Everyone can just come along and shake their own booty together!

Or just strut or walk if they like. :)

Now that would be fun.:rainbow1:

Wouldn't it be so nice
if people celebrated each other?
Each others uniqueness and diversity?

Why yes Violet! It would be EVER so nice!

I'm not ashamed of my opinion, those who surround me with their ignorance try to make me feel shame. Thus: Made to feel ashamed.

Doesn't mean it works, though.

If you don't feel ashamed, then you're not "made to feel ashamed".

Sure I am when the consensus of that particular situation is [x] and my opinion is [y].
If i wish to keep participating in said situation, then I will be made to change my opinion if I want to continue. That or no one will talk to me, or even care what I have to say. Pretty basic stuff here.
