I'm learning right now but there doesn't seem to be a good site that i've found. I'm using Rosetta Stone right now which is really pricey (have to learn it for school) but other than that idk.
The Indian government used to run a correspondence course, but this was many years ago. Pre internet.
Looking at my copy: "Central Hindi Directorate. (Corespondence Courses Deptt.) New Delhi -- 110022."
Maybe they still do, though I expect they've updated to an internet version.
And I wanted some feedback as to whether or not it's a reliable website, as much of the advertisement seems geared more towards social interaction than linguistics.

I can't speak for how reliable the actual site is but the best way to learn a language is through social interaction not learning linguistics. If you explicitly learn grammar and maybe some vocabulary words, the learning process is very slow and inefficient. Picking up the language through talking and immersion is much better. Think of how easy it was for you to learn your first language
