Im saying in ALL of this there is a type of system/religion higher then themselves that has brought these places to power. And i am still waiting for a society of wich you speak.
Japanese had a morale code of honor and still do very strictly. To me they put this above themselves and that counts as a system/religion "how i see it".
Technically, Shinto is a religion indeed. But if you are deciding that any honorable behavior must by definition have a religion underneath (even if implicit) then it sort of defeats your point, doesn't it?
Haha we're talking about common moral decisions here bud. I don't remember the last time I put a gun to someone's head. Even in that moment, however, I think I could decide whether it was right or wrong without thinking, "I want to do this, but since I'll go to hell for it, I won't." Without the specific fear of Hell, I'm sure I could still make the right decision.
So please explain how you account for societies that arose without the benefit of scripture. How did that happen, since according to your arguments this is not possible?
Show me this society and i will do so. So far it is realy only people saying "it's not real" wich are otherwise supported by a system that had allready existed off of that foundation. Am i missing anything?
