Hitchens and Dawkins; did they quote the verses of Quran from which they are said to make reasonable inferences to make a case against religion or Islam?

I think they did not often clearly quote the verses from Quran which is the basic data to infer reason from.

They only made generalized assertions. For example if Dawkins being a scientist had made such assertions in science not related to the specific data under study; nobody from the scientists’ community, in my opinion, would have accepted.

Similarly Hitchens made such generalized assertions that are against the integrity of a research scholar or a journalist, in my opinion.

Start answering the questions posed to you and maybe people will consider discussing these subjects with you.
Also; what's with the necro-posting? :sarcastic

Hitchens and Dawkins and Sam Harris are among the most credible people out there. Every statement they have made is well-researched, grounded in irrefutable facts, and honest.

Anways here's one of my favorite quotes by Hitchens on Islam:

"Islam is a totalitarian, repressive sect and its followers are naught but cruel and cold calculating racists. From them you can only expect deceit, aggression, meanness, repression and suppression. Islam (in modern Europe and largely in the world) is not compatible with intelligence, will and freedom. They do not hear nor permit anything to be said. Only by putting them in their place, we will be able to deploy in society free and balanced a meaningful dialogue on the principles and basis. Just as the 1940's brought our great struggle against fascism, so too the 21st century is the struggle against the new Islamic fascism and creeping shariah."

Then kindly quote the verses from Quran which they have quoted to make reasonable inferences from Quran- the first and the foremost source of Islam whatever the denomination.

Whatever they wrote is not a fact; nobody accepts it here; it could be their erroneous opinion, there is every possibility it could be wrong, more so, it was not related to their field of specialization.

They only made generalized assertions which could be wrong; as I stated, for example if Dawkins being a scientist had made such assertions in science not related to the specific data under study; nobody from the scientists’ community, in my opinion, would have accepted it.

The same for Sam Harris.
