Holi, also called the Festival of colours, is a popular Hindu Spring festival observed in India, Nepal, Srilanka, and in countries with large populations of the Hindu diaspora, such as Suriname, Guyana, South Africa, Trinidad, UK, USA, Mauritius , Fiji. In West Bengal in India and Bangladesh, he is known as Dolyatra (Dole Jatra) or-Basanta Utsav ( “Spring Festival”. Holi is the most well known fact that the region of Braj, in places associated with the god Krishna: Mathura, Vrindavan, Barsana and Nanda Gaon. These places have become tourist during the festive season of Holi, which lasts for sixteen days.
