Only if they are a Baha'i.But Bahaism is.
I do not see black people as inferior, I see them as equals..
Straw man. I never said I do not agree with all the Baha'i teachings. But you have revealed that you don't agree with all Bahai teachings, so you're off the hook!
How does that work? Homosexuals are supposed to suppress their homosexuality and adopt heterosexuality. But is heterosexuals are also supposed to do that, what sexuality do they adopt?Because it is exercising self-control and restraint, and the same would apply to a heterosexual suppressing sexual desire.
Who is this "Dale", and why is he such a prude? As Dale said:
"God is calling us to struggle against our animal nature and to become who we truly are: not sexual beings, but spiritual beings who are in control of the physical side of our nature and who can thus find true happiness living in conformity with God’s will."
"I have nothing against homosexual people, but I believe that homosexuality is an evil passion, immoral, shameful aberration, a handicap, against nature, that faithful Bahais are to purge from the world".
Can you even hear yourself?!
We are supposed to obey it but we don't always obey everything since we are not perfect. But earlier, you stated "After we become a Baha'i we are not to question what God has revealed, we are to obey it."
No, as I said before we accept all of it, but we are not perfect so sometimes we don't obey all of it.So what you really meant to say is "After we become a Bahai, we can pick and choose which bits of Bahaullah's revelations we accept".
Is that really how Bahaism works? Any other Bahai's care to confirm this?
You said...Straw man. I never said I do not agree with all the Baha'i teachings.
Ask God, not me.Off we go round the circular logic carousel again!
So why does god consider homosexuality immoral?
Those are actual terms used to refer to homosexuality in actual Bahai texts. It appears it is only you spouting this across RF.
Sorry, mistake. I meant that a man's sperm and a woman's egg are required to produce a child.Only a woman can bear children. The man does nothing other than fertilise the egg, and that can be done remotely.
Right, so when you claimed to understand why god considers it immoral, you weren't being truthful.Ask God, not me.
Don't know how much experience you have of this but a human penis fits perfectly well into a human anus, male or female (anus, not penis).Maybe because certain body parts were designed by God to go in certain body parts and not others.
Congrats! Post #1000But you just said that it was the ability to bear children that was the defining feature of a "family". Now you are claiming that it is a piece of paper.
Flip.
Flop.
So your "family" argument is dead in the water.Sorry, mistake. I meant that a man's sperm and a woman's egg are required to produce a child.
There are plenty of species where fertilisation is done remotely, so god has designed it to be done that way.It can be done remotely but that is not how God designed it to be done
There are no supposed tos. Nobody has to do anything they don't want to do.How does that work? Homosexuals are supposed to suppress their homosexuality and adopt heterosexuality. But is heterosexuals are also supposed to do that, what sexuality do they adopt?
I told you who he is. He is a Baha'i and he was the owner of the Planet Baha'i forum before he closed it down.Who is this "Dale", and why is he such a prude?
It might fit into other body parts but that does not mean it was designed by God to fit in them.Don't know how much experience you have of this but a human penis fits perfectly well into a human anus, male or female (anus, not penis).
Also, does that mean that it is forbidden for a Bahai wife to perform oral sex on a Bahai husband?
Ask God.And why would putting a body part in the wrong place make it immoral? Is sucking your thumb immoral?
but only in those species. There are plenty of species where fertilisation is done remotely, so god has designed it to be done that way.
Not confused. Just desperate not to be seen as what they know they are.. It's the same as the fudge-ton of the sexist, tribalist, and racist crap I have heard over the years. Same sentences, just with the name of the disparaged group being changed. It like a demagogic mad-libs.The terminally confused?
Those are actual terms used to refer to homosexuality in actual Bahai texts.
Do you agree with them or not? Simple question.
(BTW, in a survey, over 90% of people considered those words to be homophobic)
It might fit into other body parts but that does not mean it was designed by God to fit in them.
