Maybe she'll get to keep her diapers, though. :cover: :p

You know..........for sentimental reasons.

Yes, this is a pretty bizarre case. Methinks she will not be getting too far off the ground in the future, without a lot of counseling at least.

Not only will Houston be tracking her through space in the future, but the local police as well!......actually, it is quite a sad story.

That's just sad. I'm glad she didn't get to do... whatever it was she was intending to the other girl. She should have stuck with being an astronaut. She makes a terribly ineffective criminal.

This is a pretty bizarre case. Buzz Aldrin, who landed on the moon, had a depressive illness and alcoholism but didn't "crack up" as they say. In some ways it is almost surprising there aren't more cases of mental illness or downright bizarre behavior in astronauts. It seems a pretty stressful job.

This is why I argue that possessive love is not really love.

Do you tend to run into a lot of people who need to have this explained to them? So-called "possessive love" is only "control" with a happy face slapped on its forehead. I’m not so sure I have even met a person who would argue the point. Is this misconception that common in DC?

Perhaps the circles that you run in are just that different. I do not have the impression that DC is worse than anywhere else in this regard. For a lot of people when they think of love, they think of possessive love. And it usually isn't a problem unless the love is unrequited and/or the person is mentally unbalanced like this woman appears to be.

Yeah, I run into quite a few. All spouse beaters, for example, need to have it explained to them. Possessive mothers exist as well.

I wouldn't bother to say anything, unless for some reason it seems they're ready to hear whatever I intend to say.
